New electric car charging points installed for Guests at Chiswick Park.
The transport sector is the fastest-growing contributor to climate change, accounting for 23% of global energy-related CO2 emissions. We believe that we have a major role to play in driving the uptake of electric vehicles and providing charging infrastructure to help improve air quality in London.
With this in mind, we have installed several electric charging points on the campus which can be used by our Guests working onsite.
We now have a total of 6 electric car charging points within the allocated spaces on the campus. The charging points are located on both sides of the external car parks.
The chargers are a Type 2 Socket 7.2kw. We estimate a charging time of 3-4 hours for a fully electric vehicle.
There are some additional electric charging points that have been installed by Guest Companies which are for their private use only.
Data reveals that London currently leads the electric vehicle infrastructure revolution nationally with almost 4,000 charging stations. We are proud to contribute to this success and lead the way by increasing access to charging points for our Guests.
