With ESG at the core of what they do, Chiswick Park has continued to support local charities, at the same time as reducing waste, by donating disused bikes to Shooting Star Children’s Hospice Charity.
Chiswick Park has recently upgraded its fleet of bikes that it makes available for its workers on the park, their Guests, and given 6 bikes to its charity partner. The bikes are available free of charge to Guests, and due to the increase in usage, they needed an upgrade.
They didn’t want to see the old bikes go to waste so have given some to Shooting Star Children’s Hospice Charity to make use of. Bev Danckert, Corporate Relationship Manager, Shooting Star said “Thank you so much for your kind donation of 6 Pashley bikes. We are super excited to get our staff and families out pedaling, enjoying the fresh air.”
The charity cares for babies, children, young people with life-limiting conditions and their families, across Surrey and London – they’re here to help make every moment count. Chiswick Park will continue to support Shooting Star throughout the year and aim to raise a minimum of £10,000 for the charity in 2023.
